JKEEGA condoles former CE’s demise
BALAS BEREAVED
Srinagar, Nov 23: Retired Chief Engineer, Bashir Ahmed Bala passed away Wednesday after a brief illness. He is survived by wife and three sons including Dr Masarat Bala, a prominent medico settled in US.
The Jammu & Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA), President Pirzada Hidayat Ullah condoled the demise of their former colleague and termed him “a noble soul who worked for the upliftment of the department.”
A JKEEGA delegation visited Bala’s Barzulla residence and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and also held a condolence meeting at its City Office in Bemina.
Meanwhile the family sources said Bala’s Fateha Khawani will be held on Saturday at 11AM at Wazir Muhammad Khan Masjid graveyard at Baghat, Barzulla.
