Urs celebrations in Tossmadain

Srinagar, Nov 24: The annual Urs of Hazrat Bulbul Shah Abdul Rehman Sharif-ud-Din (RA) and Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Alam Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) was celebrated with fervor at Tossmadain in Central Budgam district here.
 Over 20,000 people assembled on the hills of Sitaharan and paid tributes to Hazrat Bulbul Shah (RA) and Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA). Khawaja Renzu Shah who is the Chairman of these shrines in his telephonic address said that Kashmir is also known world over for its pluralist ethos and visionary outlook. “It has achieved this distinction due to the sufi culture nurtured by the great saints and Awliakiram from time to time in all ages. This culture has to be promoted to evolve a society based on justice, fair play and free from exploitation,” he said.
