HSHS shopkeepers appeal CM

Srinagar Nov 26: Shopkeepers of Hari Singh High Street whose shops are coming under government’s flyover plan today appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to allot them appropriate new shop sites in order to carry their business.
According to a statement issued by the HSHS traders’ association here today the shopkeepers said they were assured by the Chief Minister and local authorities that they will be rehabilitated as per the guidelines of ADB. “But now the authorities are giving us shops in exhibition ground. Which is injustice to us. Here our shops are worth crores of rupees . We want government should either compensate us as per the market price or provide us appropriate shop sites. We appeal to CM kindly look into the matter do justice with us.”
