Rose Lane complains of hooking
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Nov 27: The residents of Rose Lane Colony Chanapora have complained of hooking in the area.
“We want to bring to the notice of the authorities that we are facing tremendous difficulties with regard to the electricity even though the Power Development Department (PDD) has installed electric meters in the area… Some of the locals resort to hooking thereby making misuse electricity lavishly in the form of heaters and boilers,” a delegation of locals said.
“This causes a deep fall in the voltage…As everyone is aware of the fact that it is the crucial time for our children who are preparing for examinations but due to the misuse of electricity they are facing difficulties,” the residents said.
They appealed the concerned Executive Engineer to look into the matter at an earliest so that the “power pilferage and public inconvenience comes to an end.
