Zaman accorded farewell

Srinagar, Nov 28: Superintendent of Police, City Traffic, Maqsood Ul Zaman who made a record revenue of over Rs one crore from violators in the first nine months of 2011 and also introduced some innovative techniques of effective traffic management, was accorded a warm farewell on being transferred  from the department.
 Zaman was hailed for his traffic management policies particularly ahead of the festivals like the two Eids when special route plans were put in place in consultation with the stakeholders.
 Meanwhile SP Haseeb Ur Rehman Monday assumed the charge of City Traffic head.
