Div Com sanctions relief

Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon has sanctioned Rs 25,000 as ex-gratia for the next of kin of the two persons who were killed in a road accident at Gurez on Tuesday.
 According to an official communiqué, the Divisional Commissioner, who is also chairman Passenger Welfare Fund, also sanctioned Rs 1000 for the seriously injured. Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmed Lone has been asked to ensure that the injured are provided appropriate medical treatment, the communiqué added.
 Two persons were killed and five others seriously injured when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number (JK05A-2840) met with an accident near Dahi Nalla, Baramulla. The deceased were Bashir Ahmed Samoon son of Abdul Rahim, 29, of Khandiyal and Aziz Lone son of Saboot Lone, 50, of Chowan Gurez.
