Harmful effect

This refers to the harmful effects of X-rays. X-rays are the electromagnetic radiations used for diagnosis and treatment of different physiological disorders.X-rays no doubt have revolutionized the health sector, but at the same time are not free from demerits.These radiations can damage all living tissues. X-rays are high energy radiations. To avoid such harmful effects of X-rays, lead shielding gears should be used by the X-ray Lab. The State Health Department should pay cognizance and make sure that X-rays are taken with utmost precaution by the concerned agencies. Besides state government should absorb Biomedical engineers in the health department to ensure safety and proper treatment because they have better knowhow and can calibrate these medical electronic gadgets.
