City organizations offer Qurbani services
GK CITY REPORTER
Srinagar, Nov 5: If you want to perform Qurbani on Eid ul Azha but find it difficult to get it personally done, here’s something that could solve your problem. Some City based organizations including orphanages and educational institutions are offering the services whereby the aspirants can get the Qurbani done without the involvement of their physical presence.
Not only this, such organizations are offering twin packages whereby the aspirants can go for the Qurbani as per their economic feasibility.
For the past few years the trend is picking up in the City while earlier it used to be vogue in the rest of the country including places like New Delhi and Utter Pradesh.
Take the case of Jamia Arabia Ashraf-ul-Uloom, Hyderpora. “The Jamia is going to organize Qurbani of animals on Eid-ul-Duha @ Rs2000/ and Rs 5000 depending on the choice of the aspirants,” said Molvi Muhammad Yaqoob, the Jamia incharge adding that the institution could be contacted for the service at telephone Nos 0194-2436804 and 244180.
Similar service is being offered by other institutions like Darul Uloom Bilaliya, Lal Bazar and J&K Yateem Foundation.
Aadil Ahmed, a Srinagarite said he was opting for the service for the second consecutive year. “I don’t have enough of resources to go for the Qurbani independently so I am going for the same again because it suits my needs,” he said.
Observers said Al Rajie Bank, in Saudi Arabia offers similar services for the Hajj pilgrims.
