Passing out parade of BSF constables in JK
Srinagar, Nov 5: A passing out parade of 616 BSF constables, who completed 38 weeks of rigorous basic training, was today held at its training centre in Humhama on outskirts of the city.
The graduates included 385 from Jammu and Kashmir, 182 from Uttar Pradesh, 14 from Delhi, 11 from Haryana and four from Madhya Pradesh, a BSF spokesman said.
Three each were from Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, two each from Punjab, Orissa, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Bihar and one each from Jharkhand, West Bengal, Gujarat and Maharashtra, he said.
Inspector General (Training) Forwards Headquarters BSF M S Malhi took the salute at the parade.
