SMC wakes up to market inspection

Srinagar, Nov 5: Srinagar Municipal Corporation’s Health Officer, Dr Rubeena Shaheen and Municipal Magistrate Srinagar along with a team of other officials Saturday inspected City markets.
 An official handout said: “The team visited the areas of Maharaja Bazaar, Jahangir Chowk, H.S.H.Street, Rajbagh, L.D Hospital and Sonawar and their adjacent areas where various shopkeepers dealing with food items selling misbranded and sub standard items were fined under violation of rules of Food Safety Act 2006.”
