Militant makes abortive bid to shoot cop: Police
Srinagar, Nov 7: Police on Monday said that unidentified militant made an abortive bid to shoot a policeman in south Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) town.
“An unidentified pistol borne militant tried to shot a recruit constable near Mehindi Kadal. However, the constable on duty got hold of him and tried to overpower him. Due to huge crowds in the market, the militant couldn't fire and managed to escape,” a police spokesman said.
