SVO produces challan

Srinagar: The State Vigilance Organization has produced a challan before the Court of special Judge Anti-Corruption Kashmir, against the accused Ghulam Nabi Sheikh Industrial Promotion Officer, District Industrial centre Bagh-e-Ali Mardan Khan.           
 According to Vigilance communiqué, the accused was caught red handed on February 26 while allegedly accepting Rs 1000 as illegal gratification from the complainant Rouf Ahmed Takka. The official had demanded bribe from Rouf in lieu for issuance of Registration Certificate for setting up a unit name and style “Green India Techno,” it added.
