SMC hosts Birth Registration Camp at Anchaar
Srinagar, Oct 13: Srinagar Municipal Corporation in collaboration with an NGO organized a Birth Registration Camp at Anchaar. An official handout said: “SMC took an important initiative to launch awareness camp regarding date of birth certificates in the areas where there is no concept of birth and death registration of a child.”
“Manz Mohalla Anchaar, least literate area falling under Soura vicinity was the first one to witness this camp. Children there received DOB certificates free of cost just to sensitise people about the importance of death and birth registration certificates.”
