DPN for release of detainees
Srinagar, Oct 14: Democratic Party Nationalist youth wing has appealed to the government to release the detainees arrested in 2010 and 2011 agitations.
In a meeting held at the residence of Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir, the Youth Wing members said the examinations were being conducted for various classes and “therefore the youth who have been arrested during 2010 and 2011 shall lost their academic years if they are not released.”
Youth president, Mir Naseer who spoke on the occasion appealed Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter and issue orders for their release.
