Infra augmentation govt’s priority: Javed

Rafiabad, Oct 14: Reaffirming the resolve of the government to reach out people living in rural and far flung areas for redress of their problems, Minister of State for R&B, Javed Ahmad Dar has said that priority of the Government is to create and augment basic infrastructure.
The Minister was interacting with the people at Watirgam, Janbazpora, Ladoora, Novpora Kallan and Lausar villages while taking stock of the development works coming up in Rafiabad.
Javed said that Government has formulated a big development plan to ensure equitable development of all the areas in the State. He said road connectivity, healthcare, education, PHE, Power are thrust sectors, adding that focused attention is being given to connect all unconnected and inaccessible areas and improve communication.
The Minister appealed people to cooperate with the Government and executing agencies in completing the development works taken up in their areas.
Responding to public demands, the Minister said that all those schools and health centres would be upgraded which need up-gradation as per the criteria fixed by the Government.
Regarding growing unemployment, the Minister said that the employment policy launched by the Government would go a long way in generating employment avenues for educated youth of the State.
He appealed youth to come forward and take the benefits of the policy.
He asked the youth to take advantage of various centrally sponsored shcemes aimed at infrastructure development.
