Azad inspects developmental works at Bhaderwah

Doda, Oct 16: Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is on a 3- day visit to Bhaderwah, on Sunday inaugurated Forest Rest House at Jai Tourist Resort Bhaderwah.
 Speaking on the occasion, Azad said that development of far- flung and remote areas was the priority of the central as well as state governments and all out efforts are being made to provide all basic amenities to the people.
 He said road connectivity , Medicare, education, drinking water and electricity are the thrust areas besides development of agriculture and other allied sectors is also under the active consideration .Various programmes have been initiated for the benefits of the poor people and upliftment of their socio-economic conditions of this backward area.
 Earlier, during the day, the Minister also laid the foundation stone of the Modern Slaughter House in Bhaderwah . Minister for Forests, Mian Altaf Ahmed, Legislators Muhammad Sharief Niaz, G M Saroori, Ashok Kumar, Naresh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan, Chief Conservator Forests Chinab Circle, R S Jaggiand others were present on the occasion.
 Azad also inspected various developmental works including construction of Hotel at Teligarh by Bhaderwah Development Authority, expansion work of Gatha Tourist Resort by BDA, besides various other under construction bridges and roads.
