21st Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign from November 28

Shopian, Oct 17: The 21st Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign at Shopian organized by Press Information Bureau Srinagar, will start at Sports Stadium Shopian on November, 28. This was decided in a meeting held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Shopian, Dr M.S. Sood here today.
ADDC Attaullah Simnani, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Chief Planning Officer, Abdul Majid and other district officers were present in the meeting.
Assistant Director PIB, Ghulam Abbas & Media & Communication Officer PIB Tariq A. Rather apprised the meeting about the aims & objectives of the campaign.
 The meeting decided that around 50 stalls will be put up by the various State and Central government departments, PSUs, NGOs etc at the venue to showcase their programmes, schemes, achievements and  services. Besides, lectures will be delivered by the resource persons on various flagship and Bharat Nirman rural development package themes like MGNREGA, NRHM, IAY, SSA,TLC, Mid Day Meal Scheme, ICDS, PMGSY, RGGVY, RTI Act, & Prime Minister’s New 15 Point Programme for Welfare of Minorities, etc.
Special cultural programmes will be presented by Song and Drama Division Govt of India and school children from various educational zones of the district during three day campaign. Directorate of Field Publicity Govt of India will also organize pre PIC programmes in the district on flagship themes.
A rally of around 600 school children drawn from various educational zones of the district will be held on Day two of the campaign.
