Kashmiri RTI activists part of anti-AFSPA campaign
Srinagar, Oct 17: Four Kashmiri RTI activists are also part of caravan which began its journey from here on Sunday to mobilize support for revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act in Jammu and Kashmir and North East.
Convener of Jammu and Kashmir Right to Information Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat said four RTI activists including Ghulam Muhammed Gorsi, Ghulam Muhammad Dar , Shabir Ahmad, and Sarwar Hussain have joined the journey.
Muzaffar said that they will continue their “crusade” against all sorts of issues concerning common people in Jammu and Kashmir including corruption, human rights or issues related to exploitation of our natural resources by NHPC. “
“We will soon be launching our crusade against NHPC which has occupied our natural resources by illegal means,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude to MLA Langate Er. Rashid, Tanveer Hussain Khan of ANHAD , Shahab ul Haque and Firdous Ahmad Bhawani of Chenab Valley Educational Trust Doda for their whole hearted support in making a program success.
