Students complain of ‘mismanagement’

Srinagar, Oct 17: The candidates appearing in matriculation examination in the centre at a school in Sonwar here have complained that their precious time was wasted due to ‘mismanagement’.
The candidates alleged that their precious time was lost during the conduct of examination of the Urdu paper on October 13 as the examiners at the centre had “failed to make adequate seating arrangements in advance.” They complained that the students had to wait for around half an hour to get to their seats after the stipulated time for the commencement of the examination. “This resulted in wastage of precious half-an-hour time of the students,” an aggrieved student told Greater Kashmir.
The matter has been brought to the notice of the Board of School Education (BOSE) authorities who have assured remedial action.
