Aspirants cry foul in candidates’ short listing

JA POST IN SMC

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Oct 18: The aspirants who had applied for the post of Junior Assistant in Srinagar Municipal Corporation have alleged that the short list of candidates was released without conducting screening test.
A delegation told Greater Kashmir that on the day typing test was to be held, the officials at ITI Baghi Dilawar Khan told them that “it has been postponed owing to change in type writers.”
“The officials told us that the notification about next date for screening test will be published in the newspapers as it will be conducted on computers. But, last week we saw candidates short listed for the same post and the list was carried in newspapers. It is unjust. How were they selected,” alleged the candidates.
They aspirants while crying foul sought the intervention of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in this regard.
