Eid-ul-Azha arrangements finalized at Jammu
Jammu, Oct 18: Arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha were finalized at an officers’ meeting held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma here Tuesday.
The DDC issued necessary instructions to the departments for making adequate arrangements for the convenience of the people. He asked the PHE and PDD authorities to provide uninterrupted power and water supply during the festival days. The Municipality was asked to ensure cleanliness in around all the prominent mosques located in the Jammu city by deputing additional safai karamcharies. He asked the police department to make foolproof arrangements of security at all the vital places located in the city.
The R&B authorities were asked to repair all the damaged roads in Talab Khatikan and Eidgah areas so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience during Eid prayers.
