Kothi Bagh complains of inconvenience
Colony woes
Srinagar, Oct 18: The residents of Kothi Bagh in the City centre have complained that the plush colony in the rare of MA Road was facing inconvenience because of the “pesky movement of load carriers, which ferry construction material” to the upcoming central library there.
The residents said even though the upcoming building doesn’t have entrance from the rare the same has been constructed by breaking down the wall towards that side.
“Tippers and JCB’s keeping moving all night creating nuisance in the area,” a delegation of the residents said.
Moreover they said the movement of vehicles has damaged the colony roads.
“The road was recently macadamized but now it has turned into a mess,” the residents said.
They appealed the Divisional Commissioner Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon and the SMC Commissioner Sheikh Mushtaq to look into the matter at an earliest.
“This government building is coming up at the cost of public inconvenience… authorities must look into the matter,” the residents said.
