Jammu, Oct 18: Senior National Conference leader and Member of Legislative Council (MLC), Ajay Sadhotra, on Tuesday reacted sharply to the statement of Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti.   
 “The PDP President is mistaken and misleading the people. It seems we need to remind them that PDP scripted a new chapter in the history of JK after 2002, State became No.1 in corruption and PDP attempted to divide the state on regional and communal lines. It was NC leadership that frustrated the nefarious designs of PDP,” said Sadhotra in a statement.
 He said people still remember the “misrule” of PDP. “Instead of appreciating the role of Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister, PDP is misleading the people by raising hollow slogans. People have a bitter experience of PDP rule,” he added.
 “Since the day Omar Abdullah has taken over the reins people have seen era of developmental activities. The young Chief Minister has put in serious efforts to restore peace and strive for political solution of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Sadhotra
 “PDP has become issueless and is exploiting the common people. Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister has categorically and publicly stated to the central leadership and the Government that JK is a political problem and needs political solution which PDP leadership never dared to talk when it was in power,” he added.
