LG opens brand shop at Karan Nagar

Srinagar, Oct 20: The regional head LG Deepak Jasrotia and branch head R K Gupta on Thursday jointly inaugurated a new brand shop Karan Nagar here.
 “The new brand shop at Karan Nagar M/S Ajaz & Co is the fifth brand shop in J&K. Now LG has five Brand shops and 18 PTPs across Jammu & Kashmir,” they said during inauguration.
 “This way LG has tried to come closer to the consumer. All the showrooms are world-class and provide wonderful retail experience to the consumers. Customers can have glimpse of high end world class products at one place,” they added.
 LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of LG Electronics, South Korea was established in January 1997 in India. It is one of the most formidable brands in consumer electronics, home appliances, IT hardware and mobile communications space. In India for a decade, LG has earned a premium brand positioning and is the acknowledged trendsetter for the industry.
 LGEIL has achieved a turnover of Rs 16,000 crore in 2010.
 LGEIL's manufacturing unit at Greater Noida is one of the most eco-friendly units among all LG manufacturing plants in the world. The second Greenfield facility is located at Ranjangaon; Pune has the capacity to manufacture GSM Phones, Colour Televisions, Air Conditioners, LCD TVs, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Monitors and Optical Disc Drives. This is India's first mobile phone manufacturing unit and also Asia's largest Optical Disc Drive manufacturing plant.
