AIDS society, 92.7 Big FM host blood donation camp

Srinagar, Oct 21: The J&K AIDS Prevention Control Society in association with 92.7 Big FM Saturday organized a blood donation camp at Kashmir University even as the varsity people supported the event.
Despite chill, the blood donation camp hosts said, the event remained a success as “good number of people walked in.
92.7 Big FM Srinagar station head Muzaffar Shah and his station Engineer colleague were among those who donated the blood while popular radio voice RJ Sara was present on the occasion. While talking to the listeners, she highlighted the importance of blood donation as it helps save precious human lives.
Interestingly some doctors while interacting with the RJ said many a people were hesitant to donate blood.
“At times even close relations are hesitant to donate blood and this is just not right. People need to be awakened that there’s no affect of blood donation on health,” Sara advised the listeners.
