Azad attends funeral of Saudi crown prince
Srinagar Oct 26: An Indian delegation headed by Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad visited Saudi Arabia on Monday to offer condolences to Royal family on the death of Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and minister of defence and aviation.
The delegation also participated in the funeral prayers of the Sultan on Tuesday. They later handed over a condolence letter from Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and President Pratiba Singh Patil to the Saudi Royal family.
Crown Prince Sultan, who was around 86, had been in the USA for medical treatment since June and died on October 22.
