Strengthen NC at grassroots level: Saloora to Panchs, Sarpanchs
SHEIKH NAZIR
Ganderbal, Oct 27: National Conference senior leader and provincial secretary, Sheikh Ghulam Ahmad Saloora today asked the recently elected Sarpanchs and Panchs to work for strengthening of the party at grass roots level.
Addressing Panchs and Sarpanchs at Qamaria Park here, Saloora said, “NC is not only a party, but a movement and no insider or outsider will be allowed to exploit its mission.”
“We have to work with full zeal and zest for the welfare of the people and the amelioration of the deprived”, he said.
Saloora urged the people to strengthen the hands of party leaders including party president, Dr Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, general secretary, Sheikh Nazir and Mustafa Kamal.
“Ganderbal has been dominated by NC always and in future, it will continue to do so. What is needed is further consolidation of the party in the district,” he added.
“Omar Abdullah is following the footprints of his grandfather. The state is heading towards the development on all fronts”, he added.
