1 killed, 3 injured in road accidents
Srinagar, Oct 28: One person was killed and three others injured in different road accidents in Kashmir.
According to police spokesman, a school bus of Handwara Public School hit and killed Naveed Ahmad son of Muhammad Amin Ganaie of Dareshpora, Langate at Shalpora, Langate Handwara. Police has registered a case in this regard, he added.
In another incident, a Tata 207 vehicle bearing Chassis number (233647) hit and injured, Anwar Saleem Masoodi son of Abdul Rashid of Sopore at Handwara, he said adding the wounded was shifted to hospital for treatment and a case had been registered.
A car bearing registration number (JK05B-3077) hit and injured, Aarif Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad of Sriwarpora near Warpora Pattan, he said adding the wounded was shifted to SKIMS Soura.
A car bearing Chassis number (KMR-1-E-930) hit and injured Bisma Jan daughter of Farooq Ahmad Malik of Dollypora at Dollypora Kreeri, the spokesman said adding the wounded had been shifted to SKIMS Soura.
3 STRUCTURES DAMAGED IN BLAZE
Three structures were damaged in different incidents of blaze in Valley.
According to the police spokesman, fire broke out in the joint residential house of Ali Muhammad Dar son of Wali Muhammad, Ali Muhammad Bhat son of Khaliq and Ghulam Hassan son of Ghulam Rasool of Kramdipora Bijbehara causing partial damage to the structure. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident, he added.
Fire broke out in the joint residential house of Muhammad Shafi Bimloo, Iqbal Bimloo, Riyaz Bimloo and Lateef Bimloo sons of Habib Bimloo of Bai-Nad Gujarbasti Halsidar Kapran, Dooru, Islamabad (Anantnag) damaging the structure completely, he said adding no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
Fire broke out in the saw mill of Muhammad Siddiq Nath son of Abdul Samad of Nath Mohalla Parimpora at Parimpora damaging it completely, he said.
