Bad roads irk Dar Mohalla
SYED IMRAN ALI HAMDANI
Srinagar Oct 28: The resident of Dar Mohallah, Nigeen are up in arms against the government in genera and R&B department in particular against the “bad road conditions.”
A delegation from the area told Greater Kashmir : “The Dar Mohalla Lane, which also leads to Greenland School is lying in dilapidated conditions for the past several years.”
“ The residents and the school people have been facing tremendous hardships due to the dilapidated road conditions,” they added.
“During rains water accumulates in the potholes and lanes remain inundated because of which we can’t move out our houses,” the locals said. “While driving on the road there is every possibility of mishaps,” they added.
The locals accused MLA Hazratbal, Dr Mustafa Kamal of being callous towards the area.
Despite repeated attempts, the MLA couldn’t be contacted for comment.
