CM releases ‘Quarterly Quantum’
Srinagar, Oct 28: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today released the first issue of Jammu and Kashmir College Education Magazine “Quarterly Quantum” at a function here.
Minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik, Minister for Health, Sham Lal Sharma, CM’s Political Advisor, Devender Singh Rana, Higher Education, Commissioner Secretary, Tanveer Jehan and senior officers of Higher Education Department were present on the occasion.
Minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik said the magazine would benefit students, faculty and the general public to a large extent. He said it would also provide feedback through articles, success stories and field information by the writers.
Higher Education Commissioner Secretary, Tanveer Jehan highlighted the significance of the magazine of this kind in the State to provide regular flow of information and education to general people particularly concerned with educational sector. She said the magazine would also keep the people abreast with the latest happenings in the higher educational field as also help in providing details about various schemes under implementation in Higher Education sector.
The Chief Minister expressed good wishes for the success of the magazine for achieving the aims and objectives of its launch.
