Take measures

The traffic police department and regional transport officer in particular seem to have turned a blind eye towards the overloading of passenger buses. As a result this menace continues to risk life of passengers in the srinagar city as well as the rural areas.    Every day we see how these passenger buses violate traffic rules and regulations without any fear. They drive the buses according to their own choice, sometimes so fast that passengers get frightened and sometimes so slow that the passengers get so frustrated that they start beating the body of buses, shouting on the driver but that doesn’t make any difference to the driver. They treat the passengers like animals. The Concerned Dept. needs to take some serious steps into this matter as soon as possible.
