School timing rescheduled
Srinagar, Oct 29: The school timing of all government and private educational institutions up to higher secondary level in Kashmir division will be from 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. within the municipal limits of Srinagar city and 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. in all other schools of Kashmir Valley.
The new timing will be effective from November 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012.
“Any default on the part of private schools in observance of the calendar of timing shall attract action under rules,” read as official communiqué issued by the commissioner/secretary to government, school education department.
