TRIBUTES PAID TO SHAH-E-HAMDAN (RA)

Srinagar, Oct 31: The J&K Jamiat-e-Himayat-ul-Islam (JHI) organized a daylong Shah-e-Hamdan (RA) conference here on Sunday where hundreds of people paid rich tributes to the great saint.
J&K Jamiat-e-Himayat-ul-Islam Chief Patron, Moulana Showkat Hussain Keng presided over the conference and shed light on the life and achievements of Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA).
Others who spoke on the occasion included Justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani, Dr Bashir Ahmad Nehvi, Dr Syed Abdul Majeed Andrabi, Prof Muhammad Toyab Kamli, Mirwaiz Dr Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, Chief Patron Ithaj-ul-Muslimeen Moulana Muhammad Abass Ansari, Moulana Peer Hamid Ullah Qazigund, Moulana Ahmad Syed Qasmi, Moulana Younis Moustaqeem, Dar-ul-Uloom Dawoodiya Dr Mufti Nizam-ud-Din, Taskeen Fazli, Moulana Abdul Haq Owaisi, Moulana Syed Riyaz Ahmad Bukhari, Dr Naseem Rafiabadi and others,
Addressing the seminar, Syed Ghulam Nabi Kamli said that Kashmiris owe a lot to Shah-i-Hamdan Sahib for his real guidance and for imbibing a spirit of unity and brotherhood among the people. He said that Hamdani Sahib started his procession from the Shrine of Hazrat Bulbul Shah Sahib and spread message of Islam in nook and corner of the State.
Moulana Khursheed Kanoongo also addressed the seminar and highlighted the contribution of Shah-i-Hamdan in making the people well versed in various crafts and skills, resulting in progress and prosperity of the State. He expressed hope that the teachings of Hamdani Sahib shall remain alive in all times to come.
Director Information and Chairman Bulbulshah Trust, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah said that Kashmir has been abode of peace, love and amity since times immemorial as Reshis, Sufis and Aulia Kirams have been preaching the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and the basic principles of Islam to the people of the state. He said communal harmony and spirit of oneness is the gift of personalities like Hamdani Sahib and Hazrat Bulbulshah Sahib (RA).
Prof (Dr) Dil Muhammad Makhdoomi also presented power point presentation on the occasion.
