Tehsildar, Patwari in Vigilance net
Srinagar: The State Vigilance Organization has registered a case against Riaz Ahmed then, Patwari Halqa Hakkal Tehsil and District Jammu, Narayan Singh then Tehsildar Settlement, Jammu and Ravinder Singh, Romesh Chander and Rajesh Gopal for ‘fraudulent manipulation and tampering’ of Record.
According to Vigilance communiqué, a verification conducted by SVO sleuths into the allegations pertaining to fraudulent manipulation/tampering and destruction of Revenue record of Khasra No.12 of Village Hakkal, Tehsil and District Jammu by Riaz Ahmed, Patwari Halqa Hakkal has revealed that during the year 2007 then Patwari Halqa-Hakkal, Riaz Ahmed allegedly in connivance with Ravinder Singh, Romesh Chander and Rajesh Gopal sons of late Shiv Dhan Singh of Hakkal, prepared fraudulent Fard Intikhab which were illegally attested by Narayan Singh then Tehsildar Settlement Jammu w.r.t land measuring 22 kanals 19 marlas under Khasra No.12 situated at Village Hakkal, showing the possession and ownership of the said land in the name of above said beneficiaries in order to facilitate the sale of said land to different persons.
