Harsh methods

Refer to article 'Digging into Dissent' by Mehmood ur Rashid. It needs courage to face the truth. This is what New Delhi is lacking. Some harsh methods have not worked. It is time to fulfill the promises of self determination, made to the world in general and to us in particular. The present youth, to whom the freedom movement has passed, post 2008-2010, have proved beyond words that in case their wishes are not answered, they can bounce back any time. The fire fighting, like interlocution, is not an option. Mehmood deserves accolades for analytically differing with great columnists such as Eqbal Ahmed and Sumit Ganguly. His analysis fits the proverb "only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches". A Kashmiri heart is beating within him. Thank you Mehmood Ur Rashid for representing our sensitivities so precisely
