Govt committed for peoples’ upliftment: Peerzada
Srinagar, Sep10: Minister for Education, Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed today said that coalition government’s policy planning for development is in consonance with the aspirations and needs of the people.
Addressing a series of public meetings at different places including Sirgan, Iqbalpora Khreeti and Larnoo during his extensive tour of Brang Kookernag constituency, Peerzada said that the government is committed to ameliorate the socio-economic condition of the people for which several flagship programmes under various sectors have been launched in the state. He said that equitable development of all the three regions is the priority of the government for which focused attention is being given.
The Minister said two degree colleges have been sanctioned in Brang constituency. He said construction work on Degree College Kokernag is in full swing, adding that identification of land for Degree College Larnoo is under active consideration. He appreciated the people of Larnoo and its adjacent areas for offering free land for establishment of Degree College.
