JK should be resolved through political process only: Nayeem
‘Parents of youth feeling scared’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Sep 10: Senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan has said that Jammu and Kashmir is a dispute registered and recognized by the international community and it can be resolved only through political process only for which India has to shun its “unrealistic policy and approach”.
Paying tributes to Pattan youth killed in 2010, Nayeem said, “The parents of our youth are feeling scared of none other than our own policemen who claim to be the protectors of people”.
Khan, who addressed a gathering at Pattan, said the ongoing movement was full of sacrifices given by people and the youth in particular. He said, “Our martyrs are like towers from which we get the light of freedom”.
Khan asserted that the history of the freedom movements of the world stand witness that at the end these movements had achieved their goal and the imperialistic powers had to surrender as Britain did in the subcontinent.
Calling for immediate release of pro-freedom leaders and youth lodged in different jails, Nayeem said, “The suppression and coercive action can’t deter Kashmiri nation from seeking resolution of long-pending Kashmir dispute.”
