Khoda lauds Rajendra
Srinagar, Sep 10: The Director General of Police (DGP), Kuldeep Khoda on Saturday lauded the role of Additional Director General of Police, Armed/Law & Order, K. Rajendra Kumar for making the first Kashmir Marathon ‘Run For Fun’ reality.
Speaking after flagging off the run, DGP lauded the role of Additional Director General of Police, Armed/Law & Order, K. Rajendra Kumar and his team of officers for organizing the event in a befitting manner, the DGP said the officers put great efforts and ensured large participation of athletes from all shades of life including the students of various educational institutions of the valley.
He said that due to the support and cooperation of Sports Council and Department of Youth Services and Sports, the event was concluded successfully. He also appreciated the arrangements made by the Traffic Police on the routes of the Marathon.
Pertinently the first Kashmir Marathon ‘Run For Fun’ is a brain child of K Rajendra and he had put in lot of efforts to make it a reality.
