Residents for resumption of drainage work
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Sept 10: The residents of Gulberg Colony Sector 3 are up in arms against the Economic Reconstruction Agency for what they said “leaving the drainage work half way”.
The Mohalla committee of Sector 3 said that digging of deep drain was started a few months back but left half way.
“We are unable to drive any vehicle into the lane as it has been dug up,” said a resident M Yusuf adding that the problem could further in case of any untoward incident.
“Imagine what will be our plight if some one falls ill or there’s a death in the locality, how will we be able of venture out of the area,” the residents said.
They appealed the ERA Project Manager GA Ganie to look into the matter and get the work resumed, completed at an earliest.
