Teachers hail govt order, back JCC programme

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum, district Srinagar, at a meeting held here on Saturday with its president Nisar Hussain Masoodi in chair, hailed the government order posting Shabir Ahmad, joint director (SE), as joint secretary board of school education (BOSE), G M Dar as joint director (SE) and Abdul Khaliq Dar, principal, as chief education officer, Pulwama.  Meanwhile, the Forum has expressed wholehearted support to JCC’s proposed pen-down call for September 26, 27, 28 & 29. It has assured that the teacher community of the district will make every programme of JCC successful.  The Forum has asked the government to shun its obduracy and take tangible steps to fulfil the state employees’ demands including release of sixth pay commission arrears and enhancement of retirement age.
