32 injured in road mishaps
Srinagar, Sep 12: At leas 32 persons were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir.
As many as 20 passengers were wounded when a bus bearing registration number (JKE-8144) they were travelling in turned turtle at village Hanji Gooru Beerwah, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized and a case registered.
Police said the bus was on way from Rawalpora to Beerwah when the mishap occurred.
A 407 load carrier bearing registration number (JK02M-9385) hit and injured a pedestrian, Ghulam Rasool Bhat son of Abdul Rehman of Waripora near Main Market Safapora, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized.
A Tipper hit a motorcycle bearing registration number (JK04A-5348 at Zazana Bye Pass Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to the rider, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Ahmad Khan of Kondbal and his pillion mate Abdul Hamid son of late Ghulam Rasool of Wanipora Sumbal, police said adding both the injured were hospitalized. Police has registered a case.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number (JK05A-6567) hit a motorcycle bearing registration number (JK01N-7642) near Batiwana Link Road Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to two persons, Muhammad Lateef Dar son of Khazir Muhammad and Rayees Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Nabi of Takanwari, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized.
A car bearing registration number (DL3C-2916) hit a motorcycle at Dobiwan Kunzar, resulting in injuries to the rider, Ashiq Hussain Mir son of Habibullah of Hardaoboora, Baramulla, police said adding the wounded had been shifted to hospital.
A car bearing registration number (JK05B-1691) hit a motorcycle at Delina Baramulla, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Irfan Ahmad Parray son of Muhammad Ashraf of Hail Kreeri, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized and a case registered.
Four vehicles including a Tipper bearing registration number (JK01Q-6063), car bearing registration number (JK04B-4784), Santro car bearing registration number (JK04B-4353) and another alto car bearing registration number (JK01L-1667) collided at Naraspora crossing Budgam resulting in injuries to five persons, police said adding the wounded had been shifted to hospital. Police has registered a case.
A car bearing registration number (JK04A-6277) collided with another vehicle bearing registration number (JK05B-7921) near Peerbagh Bridge causing damages to both vehicles, police said adding no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
