COE releases publications
Srinagar, Sept 14: To celebrate its Publication Day, the Govt College of Education, MA Road Wednesday released a number of publications including the college journal.
Commissioner for Higher Education, Tanveer Jahan was the Chief Guest while others who attended the event include Director Colleges, Dr Sham Lal Gupta and the COE Principal Dr Parveen Pandit.
The function started with welcome address by the college principal which was followed by review and feedback on the publications by experts.
“The college publications included Journal Inquiry-An Educational journal, Women’s studies centre Newsletter, and two projects of WSC viz; a) Violence against Women in Kashmir, b) Socio Psychological problems of Adolescent Educated Girls of J&K were released,” said a college handuot..
“Dr NA Gilkar presented the review for the college journal and appreciated the efforts made by the principal and the staff of the college. Prof. Qurat-ul-Ain reviewed the project Violence against women in Kashmir,” the handout added.
