Naqashband Sahab T-20 Cricket Tournament on
Srinagar, Sep 14: In the ongoing Khawaja Naqashband Sahab T-20 Cricket Tournament two matches were played at Radapora playing field here on Wednesday.
The first match of the day was played between Loins Cricket Club and Anchar Sports Club.Anchar CC won the toss and elected bat first scoring 211 runs in the allotted 20 overs .
Zahid scored 47 runs in 33 balls while Jehangir Scored 70 runs.
In reply, Loins were bundled out for 209 runs in 20 overs. Amir scored 68 runs while Umer scored 44 and Amir Sofi 45. Anchar CC won the match by 2 runs. In the second match of the day Radapora-XI club was against Gani Memorial Cricket Club. Gani Memorial won the toss and elected bat first scoring scored 135 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Waseem scored outstanding 40 runs for them. Lateef and Shahnawaz took three wickets Radapora-XI. In reply Radapora achieved target in 19 overs for the loss of 15 overs. Radapora won the match by three wickets. Asif Scored 36 while Shahnawaz scored 37 for them.
The event is being organized by J&K State Sports Council under the banner of “Sports Council Games 2011”.
