JK Bank staffer rewarded for averting fraud
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Sep 14: An official of J&K Bank was today rewarded by the Bank for averting a fraud attempted on one of its business units by presentation of a token of some other business unit.
J&K Bank President and Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central), Bashir Ahmad Lone handed over a cash reward of Rs 5,000 and a letter of appreciation to Bank’s Assistant Banking Associate Tajamul Hussain for his “extraordinary efforts” to avert the fraud.
The reward to Hussain was given at a simple but impressive function organized by the Bank’s Customer Care Department Zonal Office, Central Kashmir.
Hussain, currently posted at Business Unit Parimpora, Srinagar, had shown his wit to avert a fraud attempted at the unit by some unscrupulous customer by presenting a token of some other unit. The token had lost sometime back. Bank’s Zonal Head, Bashir Ahmad Lone on the occasion said all other staff members need to exhibit the same sense of alertness at their places of posting while dealing with such unscrupulous elements.
