Barzulla subway sans lighting

Srinagar, Sep 17: The subway beneath the Barzulla Bridge has become a “hub of illegal activities”, particularly during evening hours, the locals said while seeking immediate lighting of the road.
“The subway has become a nuisance in this area. Many times we appealed the government to install lighting system there but they didn’t pay any heed to our requests,” the aggrieved residents said.
They appealed MLA Amira Kadal and the Srinagar Municipal Corporation Commisnioner to install streetlights at an earliest.
