Mufti pays tributes to slain Khanabal youth
Srinagar Sep 17: Remembering the three youth of Khanabal, who were killed last year by police, PDP Chief Patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed paid rich tributes to them on their death anniversary.
In statement Mufti said, “the memories of the killing of Bilal Ahmad Najar, Noorul Amin Dugga and Maroof Ahmad Nath of Khanabal are still afresh in our mind and we cannot forget the brutalities of the police who has been given a free hand by the ruling government to commit atrocities on Kashmiri youth.”
He said the trio was “targeted mechanically above the waist in a very cruel and barbaric manner near Ahli-hadees Masjid Khanabal.”
“They were joining for the funeral prayer of another victim Maroof Ahmad Nath who was drowned in river Jhehlum while chasing by the police,” he said.
Mufti while assuring the residents of Khanabal and especially the families of these victims said PDP will continue fight for the justice by exposing the killers. “The killers of innocent won’t be get scot-free without punishment. We will never forget how the whole Valley and Khanabal town in particular were made host of the brutalities of the current regime,” he said.
