NGEUID hails CM’s decision

Srinagar, Sep 17: The Non Gazetted Employees Union of Information department (NGEUID) has hailed the decision of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to fulfill the genuine demands of state employees.
 The resolution of gratitude was passed at a function organized by the Union under the chairmanship of newly elected president of NGEUID, Showkat Ahmad Khan here on Saturday.           
 Director Information, Kh. Renzushah presided over the function while as President JCC, Khurshid Alam was also present.
 Officers of Information Department, office bearers of NGEUID and employees of government press were among others who attended the function.           
 Renzushah appreciated the Chief Minister’s initiative as employee’s friendly and said the decision would further strengthen the hands of the government. He said the employees’ gratitude to Chief Minister for such a friendly decision would be conveyed only when the employees work with dedication and zeal to redress the grievances of masses in their respective fields at an earliest.           
 Congratulating Chief Minister for his bold decision, JCC president, Khursheed Alam said all the members of Cabinet Sub-Committee supported the long pending genuine demands of  state employees regarding 6th pay commission, thus provided a sigh  of relief to the employees fraternity. 
 He also hailed the efforts of Cabinet Ministers, Political Advisor to Chief Minister and Chief Secretary for their sympathetic approach towards the matter.           
 President NGIEU assured the Director that employees of the department will continue to deliver their services with more dedication and zeal.  He thanked the President JCC for helping to safeguard the interests of employees.
