Magraypora residents seek road construction
WE the residents of Aribagh Colony, Magray pora, Mochwa and other settlements located on the link road between Chrari Sharif and Kanipora have been running from pillar to post for the construction of a kilometer odd road stretch to our area.
The demand was many times brought to the notice of concerned authorities. The PWD Chadoora even had submitted an estimate and had promised our delegation to reconstruct the road in 2008. But nothing concrete happened with the result that commuters of this area have to suffer.
Here it will be pertinent to mention that almost all the lanes and bye-lanes along the railway track which have been included in Srinagar City domain have been repaired or reconstructed. But our link road, which unfortunately has been annexed with Budgam district, has been ignored.
