Labourer shot at, injured

Srinagar, Sept 1: Police on Thursday said that unknown gunmen shot at and injured a labourer in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.    
“Unknown persons fired upon Ghulam Nabi Ganie, 37, son of Muhammad Rajab of Behrampora, resulting in injuries to him. He was working in a Bandsaw at BabaRaza Krankshawan, Sopore. The injured was shifted to sub district hospital Sopore for treatment, where from he has referred to SKIMS, Soura Srinagar. Police have registered a case and investigations are on,” the spokesman added.
