Budgam Thang-Ta championship concludes
Srinagar Sep 20: The District Budgam Thang-Ta championship organised by District Budgam Thang-Ta Association concluded at Government Middle School Dreygam on Tuesday.
On the concluding day competitions of various weight categories in sub-junior and junior categories were played.
In sub-junior 41-kilogram category, Rayeesa Aziz, Bilques Jan and Shazia Yousuf bagged first, second and third positions respectively while in 37-kilogram category Ulfat Rashid, Neelofar Jan and Muskan bagged first three positions respectively. In 33-kilogram category, Fancy Akhtar, Danishta Bashir and Nayeema bagged first three positions while in 29-kilogram category Farheen Mir, Sanan Zahoor and Zarqa bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In sub-junior boys 45-kilogram category it was Amir Nabi, Zubair Nabi and Javed Ashraf who bagged first three places respectively while in 41-kilogram category Ruman, Basit and Tawheed bagged first three positions respectively.
In junior 60-kilogram category, Tanveer Ahmad, Ashique Ahmad and Nisar Ahmad bagged first, second and third positions respectively while in 48-kilogram category, Tawheed, Amir Javed and Irfan Ahmad Malik bagged first three positions respectively.
